K18 Shampoo and MaskOur tester approached the American K18 hair brand with an open mind, given the praise it has received from serious professionals. The shampoo is indeed excellent, and the mask is outstanding—but there’s a catch. The PEPTIDE PREP shampoo series promises to repair hair breakage and damage and adapt to any hair type, from the smoothest to the most damaged. The shampoo thoroughly cleans (much more than others in the category) and gradually foams up. It’s recommended to rinse thoroughly to remove it all, and as always, it's advisable to shampoo twice.
But the real talk is about the mask! It meets all expectations, but you must follow the instructions—after shampooing, dry your hair with a towel only, apply evenly to the hair (up to 4 pumps), and wait 4 minutes. And here comes the catch… 4 pumps are definitely not suitable for all hair types and thicknesses despite what’s written. Thick and damaged hair may need 6-7 pumps. So, you might wonder—is this whole thing even worth it? After the 4 minutes, you can comb your hair or style it as usual. The hair feels incredibly smooth, handling it becomes much easier, and the scent is wonderful. The treatment is recommended for four consecutive days.

Dyson AirwrapThe Dyson Airwrap multi-styler is undoubtedly a 360 product. It straightens, curls, reduces frizz, with a brush for fine or thick hair, all without using extreme heat, maintaining the hair’s natural shine, and comes in a luxurious case befitting the brand. The technological gimmick here is marvelous—the new curlers allow for bi-directional styling, creating curls and waves in the hair clockwise or counterclockwise, without needing to change brushes mid-process. Even the base head, which is used for reducing 'flyaways,' is especially outstanding, along with the comb with wide teeth for drying and smoothing the hair.
Now for the essentials—three testers used the Dyson extensively: one with dream-like Cinderella hair, the second with dyed layered hair—reddish but healthy, and the third with very full, dyed hair with highlights. Here are the conclusions. If you expect a perfect substitute for the private hairdresser who gives you movie-worthy waves—this is not it. The first, with the reddish hair, was very satisfied with the final straightening result and a light finish of curling—“This satisfies me for everyday use.” The tester with Cinderella-like hair, on the other hand, looked like she had just left the salon after styling with the Dyson—a stunning curl that gave the hair movement and shine but didn’t last half an hour—despite using quality spray. On the other hand—the humidity, oh dear.
The third tester with the most challenging hair was not satisfied. Thorough drying, curling, then opening with the dedicated comb, reducing frizz—in short, everything this device offers. The result—unsatisfactory. In summary—know your hair because this is not for everyone. If you can afford it and meet the criteria—you can enjoy it. Otherwise, if you already have the budget, you can invest in a strong hair dryer (which is less gentle on the hair), a powerful curling iron, or even just an annual membership with a hairstylist.
Cost: NIS 2,590.Where: Available in selected stores and on the Dyson website with free shipping and a two-year warranty.
Sisley Shampoo, Mask, and SerumThe French company launched hair products that clean and purify the hair gently while providing the vitamins and minerals essential for the scalp's vitality and hair fibers. The shampoo is truly good, the mask is also successful but not the most smoothing and powerful we’ve tried, both with a fantastic scent that makes you want to scrub all over. The serum, however, was not satisfying for brittle and dyed hair, and the price is also a consideration to be taken seriously. Those who love the sexy brand will certainly want to try, but still, it’s only 200 ml per bottle, and for the number of washes needed in the Israeli summer—it’s simply too little.
Cost: Shampoo for NIS 269 for 200 ml, mask for NIS 349 for 200 ml.Where: Boutique Individual and on the website.
ANNZI Hair Styling KitAll the naysayers who don't understand why every influencer launches beauty and care products can take a breath. Full disclosure—we are sometimes among them, but Ann Zivi's product deserves praise. The hair clayzi gives hair a styled look with a matte finish and maximum hold. It includes moisture, everything—the product simply works. The kit (which lasts a long time) comes with a dense brush and a small comb, and it's worth sticking to Ann Zivi’s instructional videos to see how to properly apply the product to the hair. Tip—don’t go overboard with the product; work in stages to achieve the desired look. What we loved most—the stick to go, which you can throw in your bag and use during the day to quickly and easily fix your style, especially around the edges. A great product at a reasonable price.
Cost: Clay kit with brush and comb for NIS 129, stick to go for NIS 99 for 15 grams, or NIS 110 for 30 grams.Where: On Annzi's website.
Moroccanoil Shampoo and ConditionerThe Color Care series from Moroccanoil is designed for dyed hair and promises to protect the hair from elements that cause color fading like sun exposure, environmental damage, or hard water. All dyed hair owners know that it needs a refresh wash every now and then, and with daily use, the combination of the shampoo and conditioner does indeed ‘boost’ the color a bit. The product texture is oilier than others we tried, and those looking for the foaming element should add water, but it’s still not the richest foaming agent. For advanced users, there is also a highly concentrated mask suitable for all hair types and colors, after which you can really feel the difference. The price is also pocket-friendly, and the cap maximizes material savings.
Cost: NIS 95 for 250 ml for each product.Where: Available on the company's website.
FRE SerumThe rising Israeli brand FRE has launched Hair Repair Serum—a very concentrated serum created in collaboration with Ashley Galvin, a stylist with 13 years of experience in all hair types. It has a light texture, with a blend of argan, moringa, and grape seed oils working in synergy to prevent hair breakage and restore split ends. Our tester loved the wonderful scent of lime mint, lavender, and grapes, which makes you want to apply it to your hair constantly, but noted that you need regular daily use to feel a significant difference.
Cost: NIS 185 for 60 ml.Where: Exclusively in selected April branches and on the website.
