Apple announced iOS 18 earlier this month, emphasizing new artificial intelligence capabilities. However, the beta version of the new operating system reveals several additional innovations worth noting. We explored the beta to see what's coming beyond AI, and here are four standout features.

These features stole the show:

App Locking with Face ID: One of the intriguing features we discovered in the beta version is the ability to lock specific apps using Face ID. This feature allows users to add an extra layer of security to their most sensitive apps, such as banking apps, health apps, and social media networks.

Control iPhone with Eye Movements: Another feature under the accessibility settings that caught our attention is the ability to control the iPhone with eye movements. However, for now, this control isn't very comfortable and requires further technical refinement from Apple.

Precise Flashlight Control: This might seem trivial, but another new and useful update is the ability to adjust the flashlight beam directly from the control center. This allows for more precise illumination of specific areas, whether lighting up a dark room or reading a book at night.

Revamped Control Center: iOS 18's Control Center undergoes a complete transformation, featuring an entirely new design that allows quicker and easier access to various settings. Additionally, users will be able to customize the Control Center and add new widgets according to their preferences.
