Tesla, unlike other car manufacturers that sell their cars directly in Israel and do not hold inventory released from customs under the old tax, has raised the prices of the basic Model 3 by NIS 16,000 to NIS 221,000, and the 3 Long Range to NIS 254,000, an increase of NIS 10,000.

The basic Model Y crossover increased by only NIS 12,000 to NIS 236,000, possibly because the company is expected to launch a facelift of the model later this year and is trying to keep it as attractively priced as possible. On the other hand, the Long Range increased to NIS 282,000 (an addition of NIS 3,000) and the Performance to NIS 292,000 (an increase of over NIS 10,000).

Importers, however, have raised prices even on stock already in the country. BYD raised the price of the Atto 3, the best-selling electric car in the country in 2023, by NIS 2,000 to NIS 168,500 for the Comfort trim and NIS 176,000 for the Design trim. The Dolphin family car increased by the same amount, to NIS 144,000 for the Comfort trim and NIS 148,000 for the Design trim. Both will also be offered in January at the December promotional prices, with a NIS 5,000 discount for the Dolphin and a NIS 3,000 discount for the Atto 3.

The luxury sedan Han increased by NIS 15,000 to NIS 350,000, but the specifications were upgraded from single-phase charging to faster three-phase charging.

Hyundai, in the meantime, has only raised the prices of the previous generation electric Kona, which increased by NIS 2,000 to NIS 155,000.
