As travel season peaks, many people are buying suitcases. However, a common issue arises upon returning home: how and where to store them?

First and foremost, suitcases should be stored in a dry, shaded place. It's best to leave them slightly open to ensure good airflow and prevent bad odors.

Yuval Bentov, owner of the Tik Hatikim chain, says, “It's good to buy a set of suitcases that nest inside one another like Matryoshka dolls. This way, they take up only the space of one suitcase in your home. If you buy a single suitcase, when not in use, it can be placed inside a closet, where it can serve as a large storage box. It’s helpful to place items inside bags, making it easier to remove them when needed."

Suitcases are suitable for storing a variety of items and can even solve problems in a small apartment by containing clutter. They are also ideal for storing linens, as these take up a lot of space in closets, freeing up room in the cupboards.

Another option is to place suitcases under the bed, provided the bed frames are high enough, keeping them out of sight. Sometimes, they can be positioned behind tall sofas or large furniture, where they won’t be visible.
