The story behind this apartment is fascinating: the tenant is a bachelor in his 50s, who holds a senior position in an investment company. After years of living in the heart of Tel Aviv, he decided to make a significant change and purchased a new apartment from a contractor in Ramat Gan. His requirements were clear: a luxurious and comfortable house with a suitable area for working from home.
The apartment, which originally had 5 rooms, was converted to 4 rooms, when one room was broken and the public space was expanded to provide the tenant with a workplace without being closed in a separate small room. Sisi Arzi's creative solution included the use of a thin iron partition that reaches up to the ceiling, allowing for a smart separation between the work area and the living room, without compromising the feeling of openness and space. Arzi focused on creating a space that radiates masculinity and calmness, with a minimalist design with clean lines. Considering that the tenant lives at a fast pace, it was important to him that the house be a relaxing and pleasant place.
The work space located behind the partition is a design gem in itself. The partition creates an impressive visual effect, giving the workspace privacy without closing it off completely. The natural light penetrates through the partition, creating a feeling of an airy and bright space, and allows the tenant to feel the connection to the rest of the house while maintaining concentration and privacy. Arzi chose a neutral color palette for the walls and furniture, with an earthy orange chair that adds a strong touch of color. The wide work table is equipped with functional lighting adapted to prolonged work, while maintaining an elegant and modern design.
The kitchen is one of the most impressive parts of the apartment. Characterized by clean lines and the dark kitchen cabinets, with thin iron handles, create a feeling of elegance and simplicity. The work surface adds a luxurious touch to the kitchen and serves as both a functional work surface and a comfortable seating area for meals and drinks with friends. In addition, the built-in electrical appliances were carefully selected in order to maintain a clean and elegant appearance. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary equipment, including an oven, a stove, a dishwasher, a wine cooler and an integral refrigerator, which are hidden behind the fronts of the cabinets to create a uniform and orderly appearance. Modern and minimalist lighting fixtures were integrated in all the spaces of the house, to ensure uniform and pleasant lighting. The decorative wall lighting in the living room and study adds depth and design interest, and ensures soft and relaxing lighting in the evening.
Carefully selected green vegetation adds a sense of life and freshness to the space, and creates a pleasant contrast to the neutral and dark colors of the furniture and walls. The monochromatic style is maintained throughout the apartment, which gives it a sense of harmony and completeness. In the bedroom, Erzi continues the clean and minimalist design line with white walls and dark wood panels, a combination that adds warmth and elegance to this intimate space. The black reading light above the bed is also used as a decorative accessory that completes the meticulous look. Sisi Arzi repeatedly succeeds in showing how the right interior design can upgrade any space and turn it into an inviting, pleasant and practical place. Every detail of its design is precise and carefully chosen, proving its amazing ability to combine beauty and comfort, while maintaining the principles of modern minimalism.
