The global ASSA ABLOY Group is celebrating 30 years since its founding. Known as a world leader in security products and access solutions, ASSA ABLOY has transformed the industry over the past three decades.

Founded in 1994 as a regional Scandinavian lock manufacturer, ASSA ABLOY has evolved into an industry innovator, setting new standards in security and convenience. From smart lock inventions to biometric access solutions, the company’s products serve billions worldwide in homes, businesses, and institutions. ASSA ABLOY solutions can be found everywhere: from automated doors and smart hotel room locks to access solutions in airports, hospitals, and schools.

Operating in 70 countries, the group employs around 61,000 people globally and reported annual sales of approximately €12.4 billion in the past year. In 2023 alone, ASSA ABLOY launched over 450 new locking products. Recent major projects include the installation of locking solutions at the municipal library and the Amdocs Park campus.
