It seems that there is no limit to the prices of new headphones that the manufacturers issue to consumers. Bang & Olufsen, a Danish premium audio manufacturer has launched the Beoplay H100. Headphones with a design that wraps around the ears (Over Ear) that cost 6,000 shekels through the company's official importer Bekonect (at the flagship store in the Ramat Aviv Mall) with a 5-year warranty.

The H100 continues the H95 (for the full review) launched in 2021. The emphasis at Bang & Olufsen, apart from the audio, is the design. The headphones include smooth and scratch-resistant touch interfaces, made of toughened tempered glass, which is scratch-resistant and pleasant to the touch. Along with the mechanical dials and physical buttons - all essential controls are easily accessible. The touchpad, buttons and dial are the same on both sides of the headphones and can be customized through the app.

The replaceable inner headband is made of three layers of memory foam and wrapped in knitted fabric. It was ergonomically designed to provide comfort and "breathability". The ear cushions are also covered in soft leather.

The H100 comes in three colors: Infinity Black - a combination of aluminum in a natural shade, an hourglass color, and an amber color in the sunset with aluminum in a light copper color. The kit includes a leather case and an energy saving mode. When the headphones are out of the case and not on the ears, they enter an energy saving mode that extends the usage time up to 90 days while maintaining readiness for action when they are required. When the headphones are stored in the case, they turn off completely and allow a standby time of over a year.

Bang & Olufsen – Beoplay 100 – ANC enhancement

The headphones have customized drivers with a diameter of 40 mm made of titanium and placed behind aluminum meshes. They provide Hi-Res sound with a quality of up to 96 kHz / 24 bit and are calibrated inspired by the luxury stereo system - Beolab 90.

The company doubled the performance of the active noise cancellation (ANC) from the previous model by developing the EarSense adaptive audio processing technology that adapts the sound personally to the user's ears in real time while listening to music on the move. Spatial audio processing tracks head movements and provides a more natural listening experience.

In addition, the headphones have a system of 10 microphones for the ANC and the transparency mode to the environment. Spatial audio mode adapted to Dolby Atmos, switching modes easily from music to transparency mode by using the dial and you can also switch to transparency mode by lifting one of the headphones or covering them with the palm of your hand.

In terms of battery time, the H100 provide a listening time of up to 34 hours and also fast charging - 5 hours of music after 5 minutes of charging.
