Beko formulated a comprehensive plan to encourage the use of artificial intelligence among internal and external stakeholders, based on three pillars: Talents and people, products and platforms and technological infrastructure. As part of the program, Baco's new AI-based products include:
Personalized washing that learns and adapts to the user: Beko unveiled the CustomWash/CustomDry function. The new adaptive technology based on artificial intelligence, enables dynamic personalization of the washing habits according to the user's preferences. Combined with Beko's HomeWhiz app, CustomWash/CustomDry analyzes user input and learns washing habits using artificial intelligence to create a premium customer experience. Test results for washing machines revealed up to 20% shorter cycles and up to 25% improvement in washing performance.
Optimal cooking experiences with the help of artificial intelligence: Beko brings artificial intelligence-based camera technology to its smart home ovens and provides a cooking experience that improves itself for optimal results in the kitchen, regardless of the dish. With food detection and cooking suggestions for more than 30 different types of food, Beko's new autonomous cooking technology uses artificial intelligence to finish cooking according to personalized browning levels. Combined with Beko's HomeWhiz app, users are given the option to remotely monitor the food in the oven to ensure that no culinary experience is missed.
Artificial intelligence-based energy management: The HomeWhiz app monitors the energy and water consumption of connected devices, helping to reduce their environmental impact through personalized smart recommendations and energy-saving modes. An artificial intelligence-based cooling algorithm, CoolAdapt, dynamically adapts to user habits and environmental conditions to maximize energy savings, and achieves up to 20% energy efficiency compared to some conventional cooling methods.
Artificial intelligence-based maintenance for smart home appliances: Beko is proud to launch a new preventive maintenance model based on artificial intelligence that regularly monitors appliances to identify and alert users to possible errors well in advance. The model provides significantly improved device uptime, improved customer satisfaction, reduced service costs and a longer product life cycle. Currently available for Beko refrigerators and planned to expand to additional product categories, it alerts users to potential problems days before a malfunction via Beko's HomeWhiz app.
