Artist Hotel, Israel's first concept hotel dedicated to young and promising Israeli art, is a collaboration between Atlas Hotels, the Sebag family, and ORS company. Starting August 8 until October 30, the hotel will feature a new group exhibition in partnership with the Artists Workshop. Curated by Itai Baloish and Roni Kochavi, the exhibition aligns with the hotel's design philosophy and its dedication to the local art scene, transforming the hotel into a gallery for local artists. The exhibition will complement the hotel's permanent collection, which includes works by David Adika, Dana Yoeli, Hila Tony Nofok, and others.

The "Contemporary Print" exhibition will run for three months, showcasing works from the Artists Workshop collection, owned by Yaakov Ben Cohen. It will be displayed throughout the hotel's public spaces and feature a mix of limited-edition silk prints created over the past fifteen years by the studio, which has collaborated with artists from various disciplines. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the hotel, view, and purchase rare works by renowned artists such as Efrat Hakimi, David Tartakover, Uri Gershuni, Dani Karavan, Yonil, and emerging artists like Dima Korma, Nina Mendelson, and Shani Dvorah.

The exhibition features a unique blend of established and emerging artists in the local art scene. The collection harmonizes with the existing art in the hotel, with artists like David Adika, whose works are permanently displayed, participating in the current exhibition. His prints will expand the hotel's artistic language and integrate with existing pieces. The dining room will showcase prints by David Tartakover, an Israel Prize for Design laureate and senior lecturer at Bezalel, who created a large series of vase images in his distinctive visual language.

Prints are a hot trend in the art world today, blending high and low art, contemporary statements, and the medium's versatility, allowing for various uses and forms. The curators chose to highlight prints to spark a conversation about the role of print in the digital age.

The opening event for the "Contemporary Print" exhibition will take place on Thursday, August 8, at 19:30. It will be an art and print celebration on the Artist Hotel's green rooftop terrace, featuring a live performance and a silk print station by the studio, producing limited edition prints in collaboration with participating artists (Noor Patishi, Yonil, and others). The event will include music, refreshments, and drinks sponsored by the hotel.
