The interior designer Yiti Selsky designed this stunning house for a couple of new immigrants, Gadi, a lawyer, and Dalia, a beautician, and their two children. A private house under new construction, part of a contractor project by the Kidar company that includes eight villas in the center of Ra'anana. 220 square meters spread over three floors + 130 square meters of garden with a pool.
The ground floor is a large open space with 3 meter high ceilings, and in it: a kitchen, a living and dining area, as well as guest services located to the left of the entrance. Floor-to-ceiling windows that merge the living room, the dining room with the garden, the green vegetation and of course the pool.
Around the pool there are various accommodation areas including sitting areas and a dining area. In the basement, with ceilings 256 cm high, is the son's large bedroom suite that includes a sitting area, a full bathroom, a bathroom that serves as the guest room and the landlady's cosmetic clinic. Upstairs the ceiling is almost three meters high, a beautiful master suite, the daughter's bedroom with en-suite bathroom, the owner's home office and the laundry room.
The planning: The clients bought the house on paper, and immediately called their interior designer Yiti Selsky, who had designed previous houses for them, asking to help with the project. Many adjustments were made to the original plan even before construction and execution with the full cooperation of the contractor in order to transform the house into the needs and wishes of the client. Instead of 4 smaller bedrooms upstairs, the floor plan was changed to 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, the daughter's bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a home office and a laundry room. In the original plan, the basement was planned to be an open space, in order to maximize the potential, we made adjustments and were able to create a place for a cosmetic clinic, a large bedroom with a sitting area and a bathroom.
Another change made to the plans included a different air conditioning plan with only hidden air conditioning units on the main and upper floors. All air conditioning units were integrated with custom carpentry throughout the house. Other changes included the windows and shutters. For example, the large floor-to-ceiling windows on the ground floor. In the plans, they were separated by a wall and an electric shutter above which they lowered the windows by 40 cm, now the front of the house has only windows, thus merging the exterior with the interior living space. In the basement level, the clients also gave up the electric shutter and thus increased the window by another 40 cm .
Another change was in the design of the garden - the pool was enlarged, lighting was added and the iron fence was replaced with a safety electric cover. The home design is modern, including a lot of use of autumn colors and natural materials, the colors and materials were used to create a harmonious and inviting tone for this specific project, enhancing a relaxing atmosphere - luxurious, comfortable and pleasing to the eye at the same time. Wardrobes, bathroom cabinets, office furniture as well as furniture for the cosmetic clinic were carefully planned and designed as a priority for the customers.
Carpentry is definitely something you shouldn't skimp on, especially when it comes to design, interior and quality. Most of the cabinet work in this project was done with the Riviera Cabinet Company. All the cabinets in the cosmetic clinic that she designed were created by Riviera with meticulous planning and perfect precision. So is the practical and beautiful cabinet in the husband's office and the large cabinet that contains a lot of storage space in the teenage boy's room and of course the bathrooms and guest services.
