On the occasion of the opening of the new school year, the Israeli Society for English Language Studies Helen Doron, which operates in 40 countries around the world, is mobilizing for children from Or Yehuda and Bat Yam and children from the north of the country who were evacuated from their homes due to the security situation, by distributing approximately 1000 kits for learning English, which includes a bag with Books and workbooks.

The kits are distributed these days to children entering the 1st and 2nd grades, through the women of the Savion Women's Circle to families in Or Yehuda and Bat Yam. In addition, kits will also be distributed by the education team of the Moboat Hermon regional council to the students of the council, some of them from communities that have been evicted from their homes for over ten months. In response to the evacuated students, and for the upcoming school year, the Ramat Korazim school, located in the Hermon entrances regional council, was expanded.

According to Helen Doron, CEO and founder of the company: "It is a great privilege for us to help as much as possible for children affected by the war situation, or children from needy families, who will start the year on the right foot and give them the opportunity to learn the English language in a quality way. According to her: "Part of our agenda is to teach children the values of giving, peace, brotherhood and acceptance of the other, and we believe that a meaningful education is the key to cultivating the good in man and in our world. As every year, we will continue to donate and encourage them with a heart of desire throughout the year wherever it is requested."

According to Benny Ben Muvchar, the head of the Hermon Regional Council: "At the beginning of the new school year, I congratulate the children of Hermon and I am sure that they will make a soldier in their studies despite the sensitive situation they are in, evacuated from their home and the school they know. We made sure to make adjustments And we expanded the school in Ramat Korizim in order to provide them with everything they need both academically and socially and I hope that it will be a second home and an anchor of security for them. I thank Helen Doron for the generous donation and wish the children and parents success and a quiet, safe and good year."

During the month of August and towards the end of the long holiday, hundreds of Harel Group employees and their children came to concentrated volunteering days and packed 800 school cases at the company's offices. The volunteering activities included, among other things, a lecture by the founder of the Alon and Ella Association - Alon Brickman, who taught about the value of volunteering, giving, friendship and mutual guarantee, while illustrating the concept of volunteering and compassion from a young age, and an interactive and educational activity by the Olympic champion Ori Sasson, who told about his personal experiences and his accomplishments in the world of sports, including his dealings with challenges he faced.

During the volunteer activity, the children and employees packed school boxes together and prepared a New Year's gift for the recipients of the boxes. At the end of the volunteer activity, each child who came received a certificate of appreciation for his participation in the activity.

Avishai Achimair, director of the employee experience department: "This is the second year that we are holding the children for children volunteering activity. This activity emphasizes the Harel Group's commitment to social responsibility, education and the well-being of Israeli society. What makes this initiative unique is not only the focus on helping families with little ability, but also the immersive learning experience it offers to children and employees" Achimeir also added: "The Children for Children volunteering is a testimony to Harel's core values and DNA and to our commitment to instill the values of giving and mutual guarantee among the employees and their children even in these complex days" .
