Taking out a mortgage is one of the most significant financial decisions in our lives. It is a complex area where every small decision can have a major long-term impact on our finances. Many people wonder, "Where do we start?" To address this, Leumi Bank has launched a new and unique website this week designed to organize the process and guide potential customers through it. The new site offers an advanced user experience, presents all the relevant mortgage information, and allows for the widest range of actions compared to any other mortgage website in the banking system.

The highlight of the new site is a first-of-its-kind feature in the banking sector: "First Step to Homeownership." This tool lets users find out how much mortgage they can receive after a brief, friendly process of just 2 minutes. Users answer 8 short questions, and immediately afterward, the site displays the mortgage amount they can obtain using an intelligent model developed by the bank specifically for the site, all free of charge and with no obligation.

The site also offers an advanced mortgage calculator, which provides an estimate of the expected monthly repayment based on the desired loan amount, the loan term, loan paths, repayment methods, and interest types—all tailored to the user's choices.

For digital customers, the site offers "Mortgage via Zoom"—a fully digital mortgage process that eliminates the need to visit a bank branch. This includes submitting the initial application, consulting via Zoom with Leumi’s mortgage experts, and signing the final mortgage documents remotely. The bank has significantly reduced the number of documents requiring the customer's signature, from 40 to just 3!

Customers can choose to proceed independently or alternatively, they can call a mortgage banker at Leumi’s Mortgage Center or schedule a call at their convenience to receive banking support throughout the application process.

According to Moshe Feldmar, Head of Business Development in Leumi Bank’s Mortgage Division, "When we developed the new mortgage website, our goal was to make all the necessary information as accessible as possible to potential homebuyers. The 'First Step to Homeownership' tool meets this need perfectly. We at Leumi Mortgages invest significant resources to make the mortgage world more convenient, simpler, and friendlier for our clients, while also providing the highest standard of service through our skilled mortgage bankers. It’s no coincidence that Leumi has significantly increased its market share in the mortgage sector in recent years, and last year, we even reported the highest growth rate in the banking system."

Failure to repay the loan may result in interest charges and enforcement proceedings. The above does not constitute an offer or commitment to provide credit. The bank may discontinue the service at any time.
