The large high-tech women's conference "Women at the Front" will be held this year for the first time in Jerusalem, with the initiative and support of the Ministry of Jerusalem and Israeli Tradition, the Jerusalem Municipality, and in cooperation with the Jerusalem Development Authority.
The conference, which is organized in collaboration with the two leading high-tech communities for women in Israel, "Women in High-Tech" and "The Metapists", will be held on September 22 at the JVP complex and will host hundreds of senior women from the technology industry.
Liron Dover, Director of Hi-Tech and Bio-Tech at the Jerusalem Development Authority, said: "I am excited and happy to take part in the "Women at the Front" conference, which is being held for the first time in Jerusalem in collaboration with the leading high-tech communities for women in Israel, 'High-Tech Women' and 'The Mythists'. This is a significant moment For us, that brings with it an important opportunity to promote collaborations and strengthen the presence of women in the high-tech and biotech industry. We aim to present the talents and abilities of women and create additional employment opportunities that will contribute to the growth and development of the field in Jerusalem."
The event will be opened by Deborah Maison, entrepreneur, leading manager, proud Jerusalemite and director of investor relations at JVP and Margalit Startup City Jerusalem - one of the oldest and leading venture capital funds in Israel, established by the founder and chairman of the fund, Dr. Erel Margalit. The conference will also include lectures, panels and one-on-one conversations with women in senior positions in leading hi-tech companies in Jerusalem and other guests from outside.
During the unique conference, there will also be practical workshops for the audience that will deal with AI, smart career management and two workshops for startups that will deal with raising capital and penetrating global markets.
The conference is expected to attract about 250 participants from the city and beyond, and will present the diverse and innovative human capital that exists in the capital city. Leading companies in Jerusalem's high-tech such as Mobileye, Cross River, and Lightricks support the event and chose to emphasize their commitment to the advancement of women in the industry and the advancement of the city's diverse population.
The conference put a spotlight on the leadership, managers, leaders, and entrepreneurs and especially on the diverse women who make up the human and special mosaic of the city. The lectures and panels will be led by women from the secular, religious, orthodox and Arab sectors who live in the city and work in the industry.
