Samsung unveiled a range of new products this evening (Wednesday) in Paris, including the foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6, Galaxy Buds 3, and new smartwatches. This year, the standout announcement was, as expected, the Galaxy Ring, Samsung's first smart ring, which aims to challenge the current market leader, the Oura Ring.

The Galaxy Ring marks Samsung's next step in dominating the wearable tech market, promising "comfortable and unobtrusive" health monitoring. The ring is made of water-resistant titanium, weighs just 3 grams, and is available in three classic colors (black, silver, and gold) and nine different sizes. It comes with a personal fitting kit to ensure a perfect fit for every user. The transparent charging case is a nice addition, and the magnet makes charging the ring easy. The battery is said to last for up to 7 days.

At today's event in Paris (Wednesday), Samsung allowed journalists from around the world to experience the new smart ring up close. We had the chance to wear the Galaxy Ring and get a personal impression. The feeling on the finger was excellent - the ring is incredibly lightweight and barely noticeable, unlike other Chinese smart rings we’ve tested in the past, which were bulky and thick. Its minimalist design and high-quality materials make it a desirable tech accessory that perfectly complements any outfit.

Moreover, the intuitive and convenient interface provides quick access to a variety of health data, making the ring a worthy alternative to a smartwatch, especially for those who prefer maximum comfort during workouts or at night. The Galaxy Ring successfully combines advanced functionality with meticulous aesthetics, aiming to become a must-have for tech and health enthusiasts alike, and it is likely to succeed.

And now for the disappointing part: unfortunately, Israel will not be among the first countries where the ring will be launched. However, given the high interest in the product, it is likely that some will buy it from abroad.
