Three days after the iPhone 16 launch event, Pelephone officially released the prices for the new iPhone 16 series today (Thursday), which is expected to hit stores in Israel on September 26. Despite initial concerns, the prices remain unchanged compared to the previous generation, with the base model starting at NIS 4,099.
According to a survey conducted by Pelephone, the iPhone is the most popular device among young Israelis, with 40% of 18-29-year-olds owning Apple’s flagship phone. The survey also reveals that 97% of iPhone owners in Israel said they would buy the device again in the future, and 60% of current iPhone owners have always used Apple devices.
The survey further found that 60% of Israelis want a smartphone with AI capabilities, while 90% of all Israelis have heard of artificial intelligence, and 53% have used it at least once. Additionally, 62% of Israelis reported using AI to search for general information, and 86% believe that AI users have an advantage over those who don’t use it.
