A house in Tel Mond

"On the occasion of the move to the new house, the owner of the house decided to rent my services, and even did it as a gift to his wife," says interior designer Roni Shani - Pedelstein. According to her, "She spoke to me on the phone and wanted to move forward, but she was afraid that the price would not be suitable for her from a budgetary point of view, and for a moment she considered designing the house herself. I received a call from her husband who asked to move forward, and so the project with their new house started."

The couple are parents to two children, when the little one was still in the womb during the project, they refined their taste and needs, and decided on a Nordic style, warm and cozy. "We dismantled the railing of the staircase and created a carpentry element of an impressive wooden slat partition that strengthens the gram and on the other side there is a closet located at the entrance and combines storage, a bench and open niches." The kitchen was chosen in a white shade with a powerful fishbone covering that jumps up its appearance and contributes to warmth and appearance. Wooden shelves with elegant and useful accessories were integrated on top of the cladding. For the dining area, a bench was chosen that is close to the wall and adds playfulness to the space, and the picture of the pine cones was placed comfortably in the magical corner of the house.

The living room was decorated with a leather sofa that came to Tel Mond from the previous house. "We used it because it is perfect for the home and especially perfect for small children. We adapted additional furniture for it with soft fabric armchairs, a buffet and a wooden table and a black beverage display case with Galina glass," explains the designer. When going up the stairs, you enter the master's room, where a perfect wallpaper covering with an interesting texture was chosen on the wall behind the bed, a closet with a hidden door that leads to the perfect bathroom for which a perfect dark-colored tile purchased at mody was chosen. "As soon as we saw the tile we realized it was exactly right for a bathroom." For the children's shower, we chose a mustard-colored tile, which was also ordered from Mody with an industrial texture combined with wooden joinery. "I'm just in love with this shower. It turned out so beautiful and spacious, pleasant and not childish," says Shani Feldstein.

We designed the children's rooms according to the age of the children, but with the ability to change, grow and develop together with them. For one child we designed a particularly sweet wall of hedgehog stickers, a cabinet in a green shade and pleasant and calm accessories. In the daughter's room, we decided to go a little beyond the standard pink color palette. She chose wall stickers of prostitutes and stuck them on the wall herself, up to the height she reached. Which makes it even more accurate and perfect, with a sense of belonging to the room. A shelter is set up for her that creates a fun and inviting sleeping area.
