While the residents of the Galilee were evacuated from their homes, and many of them lost many days of work during the war, the Upper Galilee Economic Society embarked on a project to support small businesses from the Galilee and the Golan - the taste packages with the Galilee - packages that are based entirely on the purity of small businesses from the conflict line and are marketed to companies and organizations as a Rosh Hashanah holiday.
The cases contain wines, liqueurs, food products and handicrafts of small businesses from the conflict line. Each package supports more than ten local producers and growers and all products in kosher packages.
Inbar Bezek, CEO of the Upper Galilee Economic Company: "The small businesses in the Galilee and Golan are experiencing a very difficult time, so we mobilized to help them. The name "The (T)em with the Galilee" was born from the old slogan drum that took a turn in this war: "The people with the Galilee" and expresses the mutual guarantee that exists in Israeli society.
Each package supports at least 10 small businesses. We made sure to contact all the businesses in the northern border and allow them to participate in the project and the response was amazing. Dozens of local businesses sent the best of their produce to the boxes, and we were able to build a wide variety of boxes at different prices, in a variety of kosher services and above all - in a way that brings the beloved Galilean experience to every corner of the country."
The cases come in a selection of vehicles, starting at NIS 149 per case, are intended for companies and organizations, minimum order - 20 cases, and it is possible to assemble custom cases for orders over 100 cases.
