With the onset of winter and the switch to standard time, it’s the perfect moment to explore the season's latest design trends. Both current realities and seasonal changes impact the colors and materials we see in interior design—especially in kitchens.
According to Shlomi Cohen, Chief Designer at Avivi Kitchens: “The reality we live in, coupled with trends set by the fashion and design world, brings a focus on raw, authentic materials in the kitchen. There’s an emphasis on elements inspired by nature, such as earth and wood, that add depth. In new kitchens, we see a return to these elements—showcasing raw beauty and incorporating translucencies that allow for multi-layered depth and engaging visual interaction. Visually, we’re seeing softer, rounder, and flowing lines that convey a sense of gentleness, warmth, and harmony—exactly what we need right now.”
The color palette also reflects this trend. Moving away from the neutral, cooler tones of recent years, the new season embraces deeper, warmer shades. Chocolate hues, earthy terracottas, and enduring pastel tones all gain added depth, providing warmth and harmony to the kitchen space.
