This is a gorgeous house in Rehovot where a family lives, a couple + two children, who asked to renovate and refresh the house according to their needs. Meanwhile, one of the striking characteristics of the couple - who are not afraid of color - to say the least. This is a house that is proof that it is possible to dare, to get out of the monochromatic rules and trends that are the property of most houses in Israel. "Studio Tola", interior designers Liat Kedem and Tal Gal, were entrusted with the task. A task tailored for them like a glove, given their love for color and creating happy and harmonious spaces.

Referring to this, the designers explain: "We enjoyed working with clients who love color, who are not afraid to dare, who go all the way with their dreams. In this case, our job was actually to balance and calm down their colorful dreams a little, in favor of harmonious and pleasant spaces." The apartment is a merger of two apartments that was done many years ago, which required complex and unusual challenges and work as in the renovation of a normal project. Well, this is a 150 square meter apartment, which was thoroughly renovated, including a renewed planning and design, a task that lasted about 5 months, including the planning phase.

The couple's request from "Studio Tola" girls was, as mentioned, as much color as possible, lots of vegetation, soft textiles and plenty of art. The redesign also included a new kitchen, demolition of walls, redistribution of the interior, plumbing, windows, doors, in short a serious makeover, which in its current version also includes a play and entertainment room, a study and turning the kitchen into a space located in a space and not a closed room as it was until now. The balcony was canceled and in its place a flowerpot entrance was planned next to a relaxing sitting area. In addition, there were originally 3 bathrooms, one of which was eliminated in favor of guest services. The shape of the kitchen chosen is that of the letter R, and as mentioned it is located in the center of the public space. An island was planned nearby with a work surface and seating around it. The kitchen also includes plenty of storage spaces, cupboards and drawers. The colors of the kitchen - a purple shade for the fronts and light blue for the island (which did not exist before) , including art in the dining area where the color definitely comes from the lighting fixtures.

A console was designed in the entrance wall, against a colorful wall, where a soothing wallpaper was used. Also, the sofa wall contains an impressive and colorful collection of prints that the couple collected over the years. Next to it is a sitting area which is also a focal point of interest. In the foyer, the designers gave up a striking color, and a relatively calm wallpaper was used. In the bathrooms, the color is expressed through a colored tile. Due to their close age, the children share a bedroom, so they sleep in the large rooms of the house. A room was designed for them that includes plenty of corners for togetherness, alongside personal corners. Another bedroom was converted and is used by them as a playroom, and in the future will probably also be used by one of the brothers as a bedroom.

Another room that was added in the current project is a study for him and a study for her. Instead of a canceled bathroom.
