In the age of social networks, it is not enough for the house to be functional or practical and easy to clean. We live in an era where the design and visibility are also important, or more precisely - the "Instagram" of the house. This is the apartment in Be'er Ya'acov, well, this is how it is when the owner of the house deals with social media. Every corner of the house was carefully planned, thinking about the space, the proportions, the geometry and the position of the objects in the space, alongside surprising, intriguing and colorful areas that cannot be ignored - especially those in the bedroom.

The contractor's apartment we arrive at covers an area of 120 square meters, has been renovated and changed at a total cost of about NIS 1.1 million and is now everything - except standard. The interior design was entrusted to the designer Yosi Hayun, who thought and planned every single detail in the house - and the result is spectacular, Intriguing and above all special. "The clients are a young couple, who started the process while expecting a child and he is now four months old," Hayun tells us, "The first thing that was important was the space and the functionality. The apartment originally had five rooms. We took down a bedroom and a bathroom to increase the public area and also to expand the parents' bedroom - which was very important to them to have a luxurious suite."

The entire house was designed and planned around one surprising thing - the parquet. "It was important to the couple to have parquet in the house, but no Only - a specific shade of parquet was important to them. Therefore, when we started working and planning the house, we did a material investigation until we found the right shade of parquet and the materials and colors that go with it in the best and most correct way," Hayun reveals.

The public space is built in a rectangular shape - it is long and narrow, so it was necessary to plan correctly so that there would be enough space but also functional. At one end is the living room where there is a wall in a metallic gold shade that corresponds with the design of the house and on the other side there is a luxurious and dramatic kitchen in a graphite black shade to which the designer connected porcelain in a black shade with white veins from laminam - in the work surface of the sink, in the wall covering in the stands in the kitchen. "All these surfaces are lined with laminam porcelain, with which I like to work due to the quality of their materials. The porcelain shade I chose for this kitchen supports the kitchen and gives it delicacy thanks to its white veins and the look of the natural stone. It balances the modern surfaces of the kitchen," explains the designer. The highlight of the house is undoubtedly the parents' bedroom, or rather - the parents' bedroom suite, which includes a sleeping area, a luxurious closet and a bathroom. The room is not made up of different spaces and the goal was to create one large space that combines all the functions in a spacious and comfortable way. To add interest and depth to the room, the designer chose transparent glass partitions to create a sense of depth and space as large as possible.

In addition to this, as befits people whose clothes are colorful and special, a large wall closet was built along the entire length of the room from the entrance to the end to create a sense of one clean line, with a hanging area in the center with transparent doors that creates another dimension of depth and interest in the room, and to add to the dramatic effect the closet also includes lighting. The bathing area was designed in dark tones with graphite black cladding and surfaces and a brown wooden cabinet. "The materiality was chosen to replace the experience of the sleeping space with the light parquet. We chose a material that is uniform and simulates natural stone, and we added a natural wood cabinet and a floating mirror to complete the experience," adds Hayun.

Compared to the parents' bathroom, the other children's bathroom was designed in lighter and more neutral colors with blue furniture, which gives off a lighter and younger atmosphere, with cladding in bright colors but with different textures to create interest. The whole house exudes style and Instagrammability and there is not a single corner in it that does not photograph well. The combination of materials and colors is accurate for the customers and their lifestyle. Throughout the house there is a deep thought about the different materials, the shades, the design and the positioning. Everything was planned in detail and built around the parquet whose color dictated the rest of the house, and the result - special and spectacular.
