Among the spectacular views of the Ramon Crater and in the unique atmosphere of Mitzpe Ramon, the 12th Intimidbar (intimate in the desert) festival will take place this year, a multicultural event that attracts music, art and culture lovers from all over the country. The festival, which is one of Mitzpe Ramon's main events, will be held between September 18-20.
From the very first day of the festival, the desert atmosphere draws visitors into a deep experience that combines everything that makes Mitzpe Ramon unique: A wonderful combination of a breathtaking landscape with a vibrant local culture. For three days, guests will be able to enjoy live music performances by well-known artists alongside theater, dance, circus, cinema and plastic arts shows. In the background, the vast and magical views of the crater add to every event the uniqueness that makes the festival stand out among the other festivals held throughout the country.

On Wednesday, September 18, Jimbo J, one of Israel's most prominent rappers, will open the festival with an immersive performance that will combine his greatest hits such as "I did" and "Matkot". Next to him will appear Teddy Neguse, another central figure in the local rap scene, with songs that manage to enter the heart and soul of the listeners, including the popular hit "It's in my blood". The show will take place on the main stage of the Perfume Roads District, the place where desert landscapes merge with human creation.
The second day: Ethnix celebrate 30 years of creation
On Thursday, September 19, one of the most beloved bands in Israel - Ethnix - will come to the stage. The band, which has amassed a loyal fan base over thirty years of creation, will perform the best hits we all know and love, such as "Tutim" (Strawberries). There is no doubt that the desert atmosphere of Mitzpe Ramon will make this performance even more special, with happy dancing under the sky.
The third day: Children's shows, indie rock, and a rhythmic weekend atmosphere
The festival will continue on Friday with a special happening at noon which will include the children's show "Living Legend", a musical production in collaboration with the Nature Museum of Tel Aviv University, which will be performed at 11:00. In the afternoon, at 4:00 p.m., there will be an indie rock show by Aviv Guedj and Hila Ruach, two artists who bring with them the uniqueness of the Israeli rock scene with songs from all eras.

Beyond the main performances, the festival also offers plenty of activities for the whole family. Mitzpe Ramon's The Perfume Roads Quarter, known for its cultural centers, galleries, coffee shops, and artistic shops, will be filled with dance, theater and circus performances, alongside film screenings and the presentation of plastic works of art. The magic of the festival also lies in the fact that it combines the local creation of the residents of Mitzpe Ramon - artists and musicians who add the authentic flavor of the place to the general atmosphere.
This event is not only a music festival, but an opportunity for visitors to experience the unique local community of Mitzpe Ramon, where culture and nature meet in perfect harmony. This year, the festival will be led by the "Frequency South" group, which is made up of young entrepreneurs and artists working within the district, and whose goal is to make creativity and culture in Mitzpe Ramon accessible to the general public. According to Elia Winter, head of the Mitzpe Ramon Council, the Intimidbar Festival is one of the highlight events of the year, and a golden opportunity to get to know Mitzpe Ramon up close, which is considered the desert tourism capital of Israel. "Mitzpe Ramon is not only a tourist destination, but also a place that combines a creative community, a breathtaking view and local art."
