The Israeli start-up Revealense, which has developed an AI and deep learning-based technology for analyzing human behavior in video footage, announced its acceptance into Google’s prestigious Cloud AI Start-up Program. Through this collaboration, Revealense will receive a $350,000 budget to utilize Google’s cloud services over two years.

Revealense has created a solution called Illuminator, which analyzes the behavior of individuals filmed in video (both live and recorded) using artificial intelligence.

A dashboard presents the user with real-time insights from multiple neural networks tracking physiological characteristics that change during filming due to involuntary responses in the nervous system. These include changes in skin pigmentation, blood flow and pulse, voice modulation, eye blinking, facial expressions, and micro-movements in facial muscles lasting about a tenth of a second.

By analyzing these metrics, the system reveals shifts in the subject’s emotional and cognitive state and identifies the precise content that caused neural reactions or stress. Based on these parameters, the system generates a kind of mental “DNA” for the subject, enabling managers and psychologists to make accurate, high-quality, and fair decisions. This mental signature identifies traits, intentions, likely reactions, or developing mental changes in various situations.

Joining Google’s program offers Revealense numerous benefits, including accelerating its development process with advanced cloud services, support and advice from Google’s cloud experts, access to new global markets via Google’s infrastructure, strengthening ethical AI principles, and expanding the solution’s applicability across various industries and verticals.

Dov Donin, founder and CEO of Revealense, stated: “Joining Google’s start-up program is a significant milestone for us. The $350,000 budget, combined with Google’s resources and expertise, will accelerate our growth, enhance our solutions, and expand our global market presence while maintaining our commitment to responsible AI. As one of the leading companies in the field of human behavior research, we focus on advancing the understanding of human interactions free from biases and discrimination by using ethical frameworks as the foundation of our solutions.”

Revealense was founded in 2021 by Dov Donin, the company’s CEO, who assembled a team of experts in psychology, neuropsychology, mathematics, AI, computer vision, neural networks, and more. The company, which employs ten staff members, operates as a bootstrap venture without external investor funding. Revealense collaborates on innovative projects at Petah Tikva’s unique municipal innovation hub, a center connecting industry, employment, and education.
