A Sweet Temptation: New Desserts on the Shelf

The major supermarket chain continues its expansion by launching a sweet, highly anticipated dessert series, perfect for these times.

The dessert line by Keshet Te'amim is based on well-known and popular international brands, each version taking their qualities a step further. These desserts are waiting in the freezer, ready to be defrosted and devoured.

Among the offerings are an Oreo dessert (Oreo cookie, cheesecake cream, and an additional layer of Oreo cookies on top), a Toblerone cheesecake that plays beautifully with textures and toppings, a more chocolatey Toblerone cake, a Milka chocolate lava cake that emerges from the microwave gooey, rich, and delightful, and a Daim dessert that also combines cheesecake with familiar and tasty chocolate layers. Price: NIS 30 per pack of two desserts.

The excellent wine bar in Kfar Saba, Ariana, is expanding its shelves and refrigerators—collapsible shelves, packed with the finest goods—and launching a private edition under the label "Ariana Edition."

This initiative is a result of collaboration between Ariana’s Idan Oz and Ran Elkobi with Ramat Negev Winery, aimed at promoting southern produce. It includes two new wines: "Ariana Edition" White 2023, a refreshing wine based on Pinot Grigio grapes (NIS 99 for take-home purchase), and "Ariana Edition" Red 2022, a blend of Petit Verdot and Syrah grapes offering complexity and elegance (NIS 129).

Simultaneously, the bar introduces three new wine journeys—Israeli Galilee Journey, Classic World Journey, and Funky Journey—each featuring four half-glasses. The northern journey includes Ben David Adar from Kerem Ben Zimra, Lahat White from Western and Upper Galilee vineyards, Har Odem Volcanic Cabernet, and Jezreel Valley Reds. The classic journey offers Vigneron de Buxy Bourgogne Aligoté, Maximin Grünhaus Schloss Riesling, Gran Dominio Rioja Crianza, and Monte del Frá Ripasso Superiore from Italy. Meanwhile, the funky journey jumps between Naturally Pours Orange from France, Ortman Rosé from the Shfeya Valley, La Graviette Bon Zhau from the Rhône Valley, and Lyrarakis Red from Crete. This is a limited edition (why, exactly?) of Kreplach, dumplings filled with potato and fried onions, free of preservatives, and with excellent freeze-thaw capabilities. They require just a minute or two of boiling in hot water, followed by a quick leap to a deep plate and a delightful indulgence in good, relatively homey, and very social flavors—whether in a quick soup, on labneh, or simply sautéed in butter.
