LG Electronics will present its latest dust cleaning solution, the LG CordZero™ All-in-One Tower Combi, at IFA 2024, alongside its newest combined robot vacuum and mop. The All-in-One Tower Combi redefines storage, charging, and style, making everyday cleaning easier by combining the CordZero A9X™ vacuum with the CordZero R5™ robot vacuum.

This advanced solution includes a dual automatic emptying feature that clears the dust bins of both vacuums. When both devices are docked, they are charged to ensure they’re always ready for cleaning. The compact and elegant charging station serves as a hub for all vacuuming needs, occupying minimal space and featuring a UVC LED light to help prevent bacterial growth inside the biodegradable dust bag.

The CordZero A9X™ vacuum features LG's Smart Inverter Motor™, designed to provide powerful and reliable cleaning performance. The high-speed rotation of the motor generates strong suction power that easily picks up dirt, dust, and debris. Additionally, the vacuum uses KOMPRESSOR™ technology to compress dirt and debris, increasing the dust bin's capacity and reducing the frequency of emptying. The vacuum also includes a spraying mop for effective cleaning of hard floors.

The LG CordZero R5 robot vacuum is equipped with a mop that allows it to vacuum and clean simultaneously. This is achieved through an automatic water supply system from an embedded water tank that keeps the mop wet and reduces the need for frequent water refills. Furthermore, the robot vacuum uses a 360° LiDAR sensor to navigate around obstacles and furniture, preventing potential accidents such as falling down stairs.

At the exhibition, LG will also showcase its advanced robot vacuum and integrated mop. The advanced vacuum uses automatic mop cleaning and drying to ease maintenance, with an automatic water supply system that fills and empties the water tank without user intervention. This ensures that the vacuum stays clean and fresh effortlessly, with the vacuum dispensing cleaning solution automatically during mop washing.

The advanced robot vacuum utilizes LiDAR for precise path mapping and a front camera that works with multiple 3D sensors to identify up to 96 objects, facilitating navigation around obstacles. The robot vacuum efficiently collects dust with a powerful motor that delivers suction power of up to 10,000 Pascals (Pa), while its rotating mop ensures thorough cleaning with 180 revolutions per minute (RPM). The smart vacuum even detects carpets, increasing suction power and lifting the mop to clean more effectively on these rough surfaces.

To enhance home hygiene, LG has developed integrated robot vacuums that combat unpleasant odors from wastewater after mop cleaning. This comprehensive cleaning solution automatically dispenses cleaner during mop washing and dries the mop with warm air. This process reduces the formation of foul-smelling compounds like methyl mercaptan and dimethyl disulfide by about 30%. Additionally, the LG Secure-Development Lifecycle (LG SDL) monitors and addresses security risks at every stage of the product development process.

“We have integrated the cleaning and maintenance process for a user experience that is both convenient and effortless, as consumers desire,” said Ryu Jae-chul, President of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company. “We are fully committed to presenting a steady stream of innovative home appliances that exceed expectations, with a strong emphasis on defining a smooth and easy user experience.”

LG’s latest cleaning solutions, including the A9X All-in-One Tower Combi and the robot vacuum and mop, along with additional home appliance solutions, will be showcased at the company’s exhibition booth at IFA 2024, which will be held in Berlin, Germany, from September 6-10.
