LG Electronics has unveiled its new line of home appliances and a unique 4K projector at the IFA 2024 trade show, held in Berlin.
Among the highlights is LG's energy-efficient refrigerator. The new bottom-freezer model offers the lowest energy consumption compared to any other fridge currently available on the market, earning it an A-25% energy rating. With its flat, sleek design and a maximum noise level of just 29 dB, this refrigerator brings style and quiet efficiency to the kitchen. To cater to European customers, LG is expanding its range to include this new model and a larger version with a side-by-side door structure. Both models incorporate LG's exclusive Craft Ice™ maker and UVnano™ technology, which helps sanitize stored groceries.
In the kitchen, LG also introduces the new 60 cm (24-inch) InstaView™ built-in oven, rated A++ for energy efficiency. This oven features a variety of innovative functions, including artificial intelligence technology to enhance the cooking experience. With 80 automatic cooking modes, the Gourmet AI™ system identifies the dish being prepared via an integrated camera and selects the appropriate cooking program from a database of 30 recipes. LG’s InstaView technology allows users to check on their food without opening the oven door, helping to maintain temperature and save energy.
LG’s new QuadWash™ dishwasher is both energy-efficient and flexible. Powered by the Inverter Direct Drive™ motor, it is rated A-20% for energy consumption and offers customizable racks and drawers, allowing for versatile loading of various kitchenware combinations.
According to Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG's Home Appliance & Air Solution division, “LG’s latest appliances meet the growing demand for energy-efficient home solutions while delivering top-tier performance and enhanced convenience. We will continue leveraging our advanced core technologies, including inverter solutions and components, to offer a wider range of industry-leading energy-efficient appliances.”

Additionally, LG is showcasing the LG CineBeam Q (model HU710PB), a 4K mini projector with a minimalist design and advanced features. Among its many accolades is the “Top Pick of 2024” award from AVS Forum, a respected online review site and one of the largest communities for home theater and AV enthusiasts.
The HU710PB stands out in the market thanks to its distinctive, portable design. Featuring a 360-degree rotating handle that also serves as a stand, the projector delivers stunning 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) images on screens up to 120 inches. With an impressive contrast ratio of 450,000:1 and 154% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, it offers vibrant colors, deep blacks, and an exceptional viewing experience both day and night.
The LG CineBeam Q also includes Auto Screen Adjustment1, which automatically calibrates focus, keystone, and screen alignment for an optimally precise picture in various environments. Equipped with LG’s intuitive webOS platform, the projector provides easy access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube2, delivering a vast array of content without the need for external devices. Additionally, it supports easy content sharing from smart devices via AirPlay 2 and ScreenShare.3
Combining premium picture quality with intuitive setup, LG’s unique 4K projector seamlessly fits into almost any home decor, thanks to its clean and minimalist design.
