Nirlat has announced the launch of an innovative and advanced anti-corrosion solution developed at its solvent factory in Kibbutz Nir Oz, designed to protect metals from corrosion in harsh conditions. ARMOR1 is an epoxy paint that provides anti-corrosion protection in marine and submerged environments, and is also suitable for underground applications. It offers exceptional protection under extreme corrosive conditions and is designed for both new and old metal surfaces. The product is ideal for painting constructions, tanks, bridges, pipes, and marine or underground facilities. It can also be combined with a cathodic protection system. Developed using cutting-edge technologies, ARMOR1 delivers an exceptionally high level of protection, while being environmentally friendly and durable.

The launch of ARMOR1 symbolizes Nirlat’s resilience and renewal after overcoming the fire that destroyed its main production plant during the October 7th incident. Despite the severe damage, the solvent factory remained intact, and operations resumed just a few weeks after the war began. It’s worth noting that about a month and a half ago, Nirlat brought back its top-selling product, the "Shlitch," manufactured at its Be’er Sheva logistics center. Earlier this year, the company also reintroduced "Aquanir," an acrylic paint for interior and exterior walls, alongside the reopening of its solvent-based paint factory in Nir Oz.

"The launch of ARMOR1 is a significant milestone for Nirlat," said Noam Yehud, head of the industrial paint sector at Nirlat and chair of AMPP Israel, the local branch of the world's largest international organization dedicated to reducing corrosion damage through certification, courses, standards, and literature. "The product was developed under complex conditions, with numerous challenges resulting from the war. But despite these obstacles, we didn’t give up and succeeded in achieving a major breakthrough. The new product offers a groundbreaking solution to the urgent needs of our customers and represents a true revolution in the industry."

At the solvent factory, advanced products for protecting metals against corrosion in various environments are manufactured for projects across the country, including specialized paints for the IDF and paints for the most corrosive environments.

Tami Markovitz, Vice President of Marketing, shared her excitement: "I am proud and thrilled that we were able to overcome the enormous challenges we faced. Despite the difficulties, we achieved the impossible. We brought our products back into stock and continued to introduce groundbreaking innovation. With exceptional determination, leadership, and professional, dedicated teamwork, Nirlat invested significant resources in developing alternative production methods while maintaining product quality. As a result, Nirlat not only survived the severe crisis but also returned to lead the paint industry, bringing innovation and value to its customers. The company has proven its ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances while upholding its core values: innovation, quality, service, and commitment to its consumers."
