Pearl blonde: The hot summer hair trend

This trend is perfect for those with blonde hair, highlights, or bleached hair. The result is a blonde with a grayish-lavender flash, reminiscent of mother-of-pearl.

If you've recently seen more and more blondes with extra shiny hair, chances are they've adopted the Pearl Balayage trend. The trend, which has garnered around 200 million views on TikTok, showcases a warm, multidimensional shade. It's ideal for those who prefer warmer tones over platinum blonde.

The beauty of the pearl look comes from the fact that it's not a single color but multiple shades swirling together. The blend of yellow, gray/lavender, and white is what sets this shade apart from other blondes. Because it is so dynamic, it can be challenging to achieve with "regular" highlights, as not all stylists can master the precision and harmony between the colors.

However, to simplify the process that previously required hours in the salon, several products have recently emerged to help achieve the desired results. In Israel, L'Oréal Professionnel is leading the trend, and some salons now offer DIA PEARL, five new shades used as a wash after highlights to add a reflective quality to the hair.

Shai Duke, a leading hairstylist in Israel who has experimented with the new shades, said, "Working with 'DIA Light Pearl' allows us, hairstylists, creative freedom to express our clients' desires, with full confidence in a perfect and uncompromising result. For clients, the color is easy to maintain, doesn't look overdone, and incorporates countless shades, just like hair naturally illuminated by sunlight."
