Until now, it was possible to return a smartphone or smart watch and receive an immediate credit for the purchase of a new smartphone or smart watch only that could be purchased when returning the device. Pelephone is now expanding the service and allowing customers a longer period of time to take advantage of the credit as well as increasing the range of products that can be purchased.
"In a special survey we conducted, we discovered that while 2 out of 3 Israelis are aware of the possibility of making a trade-in transaction, 50% choose to keep the old device in a drawer and actually lose quite a bit of money," said Dror Bhatt, Pelephone's VP of Marketing. "We are happy to expand the trade-in service ours both for new products and for a longer period of time and at a time when many are collapsing under the financial burden, the old device can be an excellent solution in order to reduce the purchase of a new electrical device."
The devices are returned to Pelephone's service and sales centers where the device is checked. The amount given for the returned device is according to the model and the technical condition of the device. You can return up to 3 devices in six months.
