When her daughter Anna was five months old, Amit Parkash got a dream opportunity and traveled for a month to shoot a film: "It was not easy", she admits in an intimate conversation with Yarden Harel, about life, motherhood and everything in between. "But I planned everything in advance and knew at any given moment who the girl was with, what she was eating and where she was sleeping. This was my 'flowing mother'."
Amit told Yarden that she still feels a bit of shock from being a mother, but is also worried about starting to get back to her routine after the birth: "A child changes life from end to end and it is clear that Anna is a top priority for everything, but there is no reason not to bring the child into our lives, because these are experiences for her I think that part of being a good mother is also taking care of yourself and fulfilling yourself."
The person who helps Amit a lot to fulfill herself is her husband Yair, "an amazing father" according to her, who gets up at night to be with the baby when necessary and lets Amit sleep: "There is a little consideration... sometimes she wakes up and I give him a little elbow and that's it...", she adds with a smile.
And like any mother, Amit also doesn't want to feel alone, so she has a WhatsApp group with other mothers and, in addition, she is a regular user of the JAMA app, where you can find a community of mothers from your area and experts to consult with them on the various issues related to pregnancy and motherhood: "In the end, I decide what It suits me and the girl, because I feel her in the best way, but it is important to help others."
Anna is already nine months old and Amit says that after the birth she has already returned to exercising and mostly enjoys the walks with the baby. Another thing she pays attention to is her skincare routine: "Aesthetics are important, because that's how I feel clean. I don't wear a lot of make-up, but creams, serums and such - that's right."
The Jama application was established with the aim of responding to mothers of babies between the ages of birth and three, and to gather for them content, activities, tips from experts and videos that will accompany them throughout this challenging period. All the content in the application "grows" together with the baby and is precisely adapted to the stages of his development, so that the mothers receive only what is relevant to them and interests them at any given moment.
The Jama app is the place for mothers in Israel to meet and get to know other mothers around them, and to create new and exciting friendships in the fascinating journey.
