The airline Arkia is replacing its service provider: QAS, the largest ground services provider at Ben Gurion Airport, has won the tender to supply ground services at a value of approximately $10 million per year for three years.

The new agreement ends seven years of collaboration with AeroHandling, which has provided the services until now. "We thank AeroHandling, its owner Eli Dahan, and CEO Uriah Dahan for seven years of fruitful cooperation, characterized by overcoming significant challenges such as the COVID period and Operation Swords of Iron," said Oz Berlowitz, CEO of Arkia. "The new agreement with QAS is part of Arkia's strategic plan for 2025, in which we have committed to maintaining a high level of operational punctuality and excellent service for passengers at Ben Gurion Airport and worldwide."

"The management and employees of QAS are happy and proud that Arkia has chosen to once again receive ground services from our company," noted Nir Gur, CFO of QAS. "We are confident that the cooperation between the companies, especially in this challenging period, will lead to mutual success while ensuring high levels of service and safety for Arkia passengers."

QAS (Quality Airport Services), established in 1996 as a joint venture between the global company Swissport (50%) and the Israeli company Knafaim (50%), is currently the largest of the three companies providing ground services at Ben Gurion Airport.
