Issta Sport is entering the ski tourism sector with a NIS 2 million investment aimed at enhancing the traditional skiing experience for Israelis. According to company estimates, over 80,000 Israelis are expected to head out for ski vacations this upcoming season, with demand particularly surging around attractive events like the Winter Olympics and international festivals. Among the events included in the new packages are the world's largest electronic music festival, Tomorrowland Winter, global sports events, and performances by international artists.
“We understand that the Israeli audience is looking to diversify their traditional skiing experience,” explains Ido Veg, CEO of Issta Sport. “Our entry into this field is part of our strategy to offer richer and more varied vacations, far beyond what we have been accustomed to in the past.”
The new packages include direct flights to popular destinations in Europe, accommodation in hotels of various standards, professional instruction, quality ski equipment, and additional services. The company offers a range of packages tailored for both beginners and experienced skiers. “We are excited to provide our customers with the perfect ski vacation that combines adrenaline with unforgettable experiences,” adds Veg. “With the extensive experience we have gained in the field of sports and extreme tourism, we are confident that we will bring this news to Israelis and lead the ski tourism sector in Israel.”
This move complements the company’s existing product range, which already includes sports and soccer packages, marathons and cycling tours, Formula 1 racing, music packages for major global events, and extreme sports events through the travel company Global Surf.
