The vegan brand iolifeV by Upfield launches two new products: Mozzarella-style slices and creamy garlic and herb spread. We tried the mozzarella, which had a texture and taste very similar to the original cheese. It's great for sandwiches but didn’t pass the heating test in a toast. We loved the creamy spread, which had pronounced garlic flavors and an excellent texture for spreading. If we hadn’t known, we wouldn’t have guessed it was vegan.Price: NIS 18.50-24.90.

Finally, it's happened: Osem-Nestlé began marketing the THOMY sauce brand in Israel. The brand's sauces: Mayonnaise, 50% fat-reduced mayonnaise, ketchup-mayonnaise, and mustard, come in convenient squeeze tubes. THOMY is an environmentally conscious brand; its products are made from 100% free-range eggs, sustainable sunflower oil, and recyclable packaging. After trying, we understand the buzz. The classic mayonnaise we tried has a good texture and taste. The ketchup is excellent, especially if you don’t like your ketchup overly sweet.Price: NIS 12.50-23.90.
