WhatsApp continues its efforts to improve the user experience, this time with a new feature that will allow you to organize your contacts and groups more efficiently. According to a report on the WABetaInfo website, the new beta version of WhatsApp for Android reveals a feature called Lists ("lists") that will allow the creation of personalized lists of contacts and groups. The new list menu will appear in the application settings under the description "Manage people and groups".

The new feature is expected to be especially useful for users with a large number of contacts, as it will allow the creation of dedicated lists such as "family", "friends", "work" and more. These lists can be used as special filters that will display only the contacts and groups relevant to that category. This step is expected to make it easier for many users who find it difficult to manage within the messaging application loaded with contacts and groups, and will allow them to focus on communicating with the people relevant to them at any given moment.

In addition, there is a possibility that the feature will also be used for status updates ("WhatsApp Stories"), so that users can share photos and videos with the most relevant audience. Like any feature that is under development, the new Lists for managing lists is expected to be available in a future update of WhatsApp, both for Android and iOS (iPhone).
