In this apartment in Petah Tikva, measuring 120 square meters, lives a couple + 2 teenagers. The family likes to travel, cook together, and the father of the family is an avid lover of coffee.. which is why we will hear later on the close connection between coffee and kitchen design. "My challenge as a designer was to adapt the 30-year-old apartment to the family's needs and habits: routine habits, hospitality habits, cooking, in order to make an exact adjustment," explains interior designer Hila Levy, who is responsible for the planning and design of the project. In the first step, the designer made a list with the fact that there is no other family that owns the car and the needs are exactly the same. In the first stage of the process, the designer made a detailed list in order to understand what objects remain at the end of the renovation, along with the dimensions and understanding of the space. According to the designer, "the most important request of the client was to use and maximize the space, and at the same time create A spacious, ventilated and pleasant atmosphere".
The clients also asked for the planning and design of a large and spacious kitchen with a respectable corner for the coffee machine, a hobby of the owner of the house. A respectable place is given to the coffee machine, using a pocket covered with wooden slats. The kitchen is fundamental and important to the family members. For the sake of a pleasant stay there and increasing the space, the designer broke a wall. The kitchen was also designed with a lot of storage, work surfaces with plenty of space, since family members cook together. The sitting counter in the kitchen was replaced by a spacious dining table. The color for the kitchen is coffee colors, as befits the love of the father of the family, and the marble is made of porcelain granite with a white shade with delicate veins in gold, which correspond with the brass lighting fixtures.
A designed TV wall incorporates air conditioning vents. The same wall contains plenty of storage solutions and open shelving to display the collections from the trips the family collected during its travels around the world. Also in the living room is a spacious R-shaped leather sofa and two round coffee tables that add tenderness to the space. In the bedroom, the small shower was eliminated and together with it, the small and impractical closet was also eliminated. In their place, a spacious and large shower was planned. The wardrobes were integrated as part of the bedroom, and the TV screen is an integral part of the wardrobe, which was designed by Delkoub. An excellent and cost-effective solution. One of the children's bedrooms was reduced, in favor of a large master suite and a larger and more spacious closet design.
The chosen design is modern with warm touches. Meanwhile, the color chosen for the flooring of the house is light gray, which provides a warm and enveloping atmosphere.
