Even in 2025, it seems that the trend that will continue to star in Israel is the one that sanctifies nature. The design of our living environment is going to be simpler in appearance, authentic and above all green

Coincidentally or not, one of the main trends that is reflected in the major international websites and magazines is the one that recaptured and sanctified the authentic, simple and raw look - a trend that is more relevant than ever and very relevant to the mindset here in Israel.

Not surprisingly, at least some of us strive to return to our roots and connect to the basics, certainly when it comes to homes - the familiar, safe and protective place. The current models are simple and raw than before, the pleasure in missing out, try less to stick to screens and strive to connect to the essence, nature and rawness.

"The tendency to use high-quality sustainable materials, which are carefully processed with advanced technologies and thus produce the correct and precise balance between form and function in the various spaces of the house," explains architect Boaz Snir.

According to him, "the use of natural materials in the home is not only a contemporary trend but a design approach that is based on a deep connection between the environment and man. Materials such as wood, stone, and concrete not only connect us to nature, but also contribute to our inner well-being."

Gal Nardi, the vice president of marketing of LAMINAM Israel, also points out that in the coming period the shades of sand and earth will be at the forefront: "The big brands clearly put the shades of earth in the center, for example shades like cream, egg shell, walnut, terracotta and sand. I believe that this is not a trend but a temporary trend that will only gain momentum, because it creates harmony and peace in every corner of the house, especially when it is applied to large surfaces. We clearly see that the shades of gray, concrete and black are giving way to these shades that are called and interpreted as much more pleasant and relaxing. Another advantage is that they give room for the elements and accessories that we want to incorporate in the space.

"Furthermore, the textures are also natural and the tendency is to imitate textures borrowed from the natural world even when it comes to industrial products," explains Nardi. "For example, the global LAMINAM created a series that draws inspiration from raindrops that flow on the window and, in addition, a variety of grooved models that accurately simulate various types of plaster or crumpled fabric."

"The connection between the outdoor space and nature is not only a design experience, and increasing the domestic living space, but also a deep desire to assimilate in an authentic way with nature. A natural and unmediated connection, a piece of paradise, which will create even a sensory closeness to nature, which will make us disconnect from the urban environment," explains Shai David, landscape architect and owner of the CARCOM company. Incorporating local vegetation, using natural finiShaing materials, adding elements such as wading, can give the feeling that we are not on the balcony, or in the home garden, but in the middle of the forest, close to the earth, which creates a real, quiet and peaceful oasis."
