Winter weddings in 2025 promise to be a celebration of elegance, warmth, and creativity. Couples are choosing to infuse their weddings with a unique atmosphere that reflects their personalities and personal tastes.

Amit Capuano, CEO of LAGO: "For many couples, choosing a wedding venue is one of the most important and expensive decisions in the wedding planning process. The cost per guest at event venues varies widely, ranging from NIS 170 to NIS 500 per guest. This depends on several factors, including:

Location: Events held in central Israel are significantly more expensive than those in peripheral areas.

Season: Summer prices tend to be higher than winter.

Day of the week: Weekend weddings are pricier than those held from Sunday to Wednesday.

Guest count: Naturally, larger and more luxurious weddings will cost more.

Additional services: The cost per guest may include extras such as beverages, table arrangements, lighting, and sound systems."

Timing Matters
  • Season: During the summer, the most popular wedding season, prices are higher compared to winter.
  • Day of the week: Events held over weekends tend to be more expensive than those held on weekdays (Sunday to Wednesday).
  • Special dates: Dates in high demand, such as holidays, memorable dates like 8/8 or 12/12, or days with popular events like a Euro Cup game, often come with higher costs. Similarly, Thursday and Friday afternoon weddings are pricier than those on other days.
  • Type of event: Larger and more lavish weddings are more expensive than smaller, simpler ones. Outdoor weddings, especially those requiring significant setup from scratch, will also be more costly.

Design Trends for 2025 Weddings

Deep and Warm Colors: Instead of pastel tones, couples are opting for a rich color palette filled with depth, such as burgundy, dark green, purple, and gold. These colors create a warm and elegant atmosphere, perfect for winter weddings.

Rich Textures: Heavy fabrics, velvet, faux fur, and luxurious design elements elevate the overall feel of the wedding decor. Tables are dressed in fine linens, large candles add warmth, and natural elements like dry branches enhance the magical winter ambiance.

Personalized Designs: Couples are looking for ways to make their weddings unique and personal. This includes incorporating family photos, meaningful objects, and even original artwork into the decor.

Seasonal Menus: The wedding menus highlight fresh seasonal ingredients like berries, pumpkins, apples, and pears. Chef Nir Dvir of LAGO prepares unique and surprising dishes that reflect the season's bounty.

Warm Lighting and Intimate Atmosphere: Candlelight, hanging light fixtures, and soft neon lights create a cozy, intimate setting—perfect for dancing and celebrating late into the night.

Special Desserts: Desserts are presented in a creative and luxurious way, including tiered cakes, rich dessert tables, and indulgent chocolate bars.

Winter Activities: Couples are incorporating winter-themed activities into their weddings, such as fire pit corners and bars serving hot beverages.
