A new curriculum called Tech School, initiated by the Israeli software company Monday, began operating in 20 schools in the geographic, economic and social periphery in the school year that opened not long ago.
The program intended for middle school students is designed to impart skills, tools and technological knowledge through an enriching experience in the worlds of technological creation, which includes modeling studies in drafting software and 3D printing in the scope of three study hours per week.
"Our maker is driven by passion and love for technology and new inventions, but it also requires technological tools and diverse skills to turn an idea into reality," says Sharon Paz, head of the team at Monday.
He added that "from this insight we created a unique curriculum, connected to the world of the students and teachers". The program is a continuation of a successful pilot that Manday led at the religious-scientific high school Marom in Ofakim and the Yitzhak Navon Darca high school in Netivot.
