Weekly flights: Etihad Airways ups the ante

Etihad Airways increases weekly flights to 12 between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi, offering flexibility in schedules and lower ticket prices. Starting Dec 1, flights to Bangkok from $768.

To the delight of those flying to Thailand: Etihad Airways will switch to operating 12 weekly flights between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi. The meaning of the move is flexibility in flight schedules. Also, less waiting between connection flights to the east.

According to the company's announcement, as of December 1, a flight ticket to Bangkok with Etihad will cost from - when the average market price of those tickets is $850. This is about 10% less than the average market price now.

To remind you, the airline company "Etihad Airways" has not stopped the line between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi almost since the 7.10 paid off. Last August the company even crossed the threshold of 12 thousand passengers on the line for the first time.

As of December 1, 2024, the company will add a morning flight on Tuesdays and Fridays. That is, the company will switch to operating the line between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi in the format of a two-day flight except on Sundays and Mondays. These flights left Abu Dhabi at 03:25 and will land in Tel Aviv at 05:05. They left Tel Aviv at 06:40 and will land in Abu Dhabi at 11:40. (Most connections to the east leave at 14:00).

According to Ran Pollak, Etihad Airways operations manager in Israel, "the morning flights to Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi to Tel Aviv will be scheduled in such a way as to allow passengers to reach all destinations in the East with minimal waiting times in Abu Dhabi along with flexibility in choosing the schedule that best suits them."
