Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called on the the international community to protect Palestinians and to put an end to the 'bloodshed,' in Doha, where he met with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon. 'The U.N. Security Council's failure to take a decision to stop the aggression and massacres on our Palestinian people, doesn't free it from its responsibilities according to international law,' he said in Qatar. 'Therefore I call on the council to hold another emergency meeting today to fulfill its duties towards protecting Palestinians.'
