A cameraman accompanying Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad defected to the United States during the Iranian delegation's visit to the United Nations General Assembly, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.A lawyer for the cameraman, Hassan Gol Khanban, confirmed to the Journal that his client was seeking asylum in the US.
