IDF forces shot and killed a Palestinian who they said had attempted to throw Molotov cocktails at cars driving between Jerusalem and Gush Etzion, the IDF Spokesperson said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred near Al-Hader in the Bethlehem area after IDF forces set up an ambush at a spot where Molotov cocktails had been thrown at Israeli vehicles at least seven times in the last month. Three people arrived at the spot and the IDF shot one of them while in the act of throwing the explosive. He later died from his wounds.
Initial Palestinian media reports said that the thrower was 14 years old.
