A total of 7,714 new daily coronavirus cases were recorded on Monday. Of some 71,939 tests taken on Monday, both PCR and antigen, 10.72% returned positive results.
Serious cases now stand at 560, with 211 people on ventilators. To date, 10,218 people have died of COVID-19 in Israel since the start of the pandemic.
