Israel is set to mark Sunday as the special memorial day for the Ethiopian Jews who died in Sudan on their way to Israel.
The day commemorates the nearly 4,000 people who were unable to make it to Israel.
"The pilgrimage of Ethiopian Jews to Eretz Yisrael is the modern exodus of the Jewish people to Israel," Likud MK Gadi Yevarkan said in a statement.
