A Palestinian man was killed in an exchange with IDF soldiers during an arrest of two wanted men in Jenin, Israeli media reported on Wednesday morning.
The man — Muhammad Maher Amree according to Palestinian media — was reportedly killed when explosive devices were thrown at Duvdevan and Golani forces, and the soldiers returned fire. The IDF stated that it had identified a hit in a Wednesday morning operational update.
The IDF, Shin Bet and Border Police conducted arrests elsewhere in Judea and Samaria on Tuesday night, arresting a total of 13 wanted individuals. A number of weapon caches were also seized during the night.
The IDF reported that it suffered no casualties during the operations.
