Two Palestinians injured in gunfight with IDF overnight

Many arrests were made in multiple locations throughout the West Bank with many of them taken in for questioning on suspicion of involvement in terrorism.

Palestinians fired at IDF soldiers on Tuesday night on the Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus in the West Bank. IDF returned fire, injuring two as a result.

The suspects threw stones, explosives and Molotov cocktails at the forces, who responded with gunfire. IDF forces arrested three at the scene.

There were no Israeli casualties throughout the night. Those arrested were taken in for further investigation by security forces.

Arrests in West Bank overnight

The IDF, Shin Bet and Border Police have arrested 11 wanted individuals overnight in the West Bank on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activity.

Israeli forces operated in the villages of Tulkarm, Ramon, Beit Likya, Deir Dewan, Kifl Haris and Deir Abu Mash'al amongst others.

Forces arrested two in Al-Yamun in the Menashe Territorial Brigade area. Also, in an activity to confiscate illegal weapons in the city of Jenin, IDF fighters fired at suspects who threw explosives and fired at them.
