Israel will continue to do "anything possible" to prevent a nuclear Iran, Prime Minister Yair Lapid told French President Emmanuel Macron in a Monday afternoon phone conversation.
With the Iran nuclear deal negotiations taking center stage, the two leaders discussed Israel's opposition to a revived nuclear deal. Lapid reasserted his belief that world powers must avoid making further concessions to the Islamic Republic's negotiators.
Macron reaffirmed his commitment to preventing Iran from ever acquiring a nuclear weapon.
