Some 1.5 million Israeli travelers visited nature reserves and national parks across Israel in the past week, an all-time record high during the Sukkot holiday, Israeli media reported.
Israel's Nature and Parks Authority noted an "impressive rise" in visits to Israeli historical and heritage sites, including Tel Afek National Park, the Caesarea National Park and Masada.
