A 40-year-old man was arrested in Jisr e-Zarka on the weekend after hitting his wife and children, threatening them with a knife and burning the wife's car, Israel Police Spokesperson's Unit announced on Sunday morning.
The wife was lightly injured and underwent treatment at the hospital. The car was completely burned.
The suspect's detention was extended until the end of the month.
