A 30-year-old suspect was arrested for allegedly severely beating his wife with a stick in Jerusalem last weekend, the Israel Police Spokesperson's Unit reported.
After the wife received medical treatment at Hadassah-University Medical Center in Mount Scopus, the police were informed and arrested the suspect.
The suspect's detention was extended until the end of the month and his investigation continues.
