Poland has agreed to accept a new package of EU sanctions against Russia for invading Ukraine a year ago, but consent is conditional and depends on six points, the country's EU ambassador Andrzej Sados was quoted as saying on Friday by PAP news agency.
Diplomats had said earlier the European Union countries were unable to agree for a third day running on Friday on new sanctions against Russia, with Poland rejecting Italy's demand for laxer new curbs on rubber imports.
